When Can You Unlock Blow the Man Down?

Long Bay is story-gated. You first visit it during The Observatory, the third memory in Sequence 10. Complete that visit before trying to fast travel back; the island will then remain available in free roam.

The trophy or achievement is not missable, and you do not need to start a new save if you passed the mission. Bring any pistol with ammunition so you can cut down each body from a safe angle.

All Three Long Bay Hanging Body Locations

The three bodies are close together in northeast Long Bay. Start at the viewpoint rather than searching the full island.

Fastest Route From the Viewpoint

Fast travel to the northeast Long Bay viewpoint (505, 232).
Look below the tower. Drop to a lower platform if the first rope is hidden, then shoot until the body falls.
Descend to the ground and follow the sandy path southwest.
Near (501, 228), look above the road for the second hanging body and shoot it down.
Continue only a short distance along the same path. The third body hangs nearby above the route.
The trophy unlocks as soon as the third body has fallen.

You do not need to loot the bodies, clear every enemy, or synchronize another viewpoint. If the trophy does not appear, walk back along the short route and confirm that all three bodies are on the ground.

Common Problems

Long Bay Does Not Appear on the Map

Continue the main story through The Observatory in Sequence 10. Long Bay cannot be freely visited before its story introduction.

A Shot Does Not Drop the Body

Move closer and aim at the rope or its attachment point. The foliage and tower beams can block a shot even when the body itself looks visible.

Only Two Bodies Are Visible

The two path bodies are close together but not in the same tree. After finding the first one near (501, 228), move a few steps farther along the sandy route and keep the camera pointed above the road.
